The Campo Verde Marching Band Takes The Field
Campo Verde High School truly has an amazing music scene at the football games. During the first couple of games, at home and away, the Coyote Pride Marching Band performed the national anthem and its fun show featuring music of Ariana Grande, “Focus” and “Problem.” This season, the directors, Matt Kozacek and Taylor Mitchell, incorporated a new routine that took the audience by surprise, when the band members unexpectedly ran onto the football field, while holding their instruments, and rallying the crowd. The attending students, family members, and visitors alike, welcomed the marching band members with chants and cheers displaying an unforgettable sign of unity and harmony.
After the band’s field performances, the members filled the stands louder and stronger than ever, playing tunes like “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga, “Trumpets” by Jason Derulo, “Fireball” by Pitbull, and other cheerful tunes. The band’s roaring trumpets, expressive saxophones, color guards’ infectious enthusiasm, and all of its talented band members have already made this season momentous by setting the right tone. This is an amazing start to the season and cannot wait to see the Coyote Pride Marching Band back in action at the next football game. GO YOTES!
