The CVHS Marching Band Pays Tribute in 9/11 Memorial Ceremony

The Campo Verde High School Marching Band had the privilege of joining the Gilbert Fire & Rescue and Police Departments in commemorating the 9/11 anniversary on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at Gilbert's 9/11 Memorial at Gilbert Town Hall.

To remember the victims, survivors, and all those affected on that tragic day, the band offered a humble performance of "God Bless the USA" and a variety of music conducted by Director of Bands, Matt Kozacek and Assistant Director of Bands, Taylor Mitchell.

The marching band members, despite their young age, understand the heartbreaking events of the 9/11 attacks, and they will never forget the innocent Americans who lost their lives and the heroes who exhibited strength and courage in their rescue efforts. We will never forget.
