Jazz All-State Winner

We are proud to announce that a member of the Campo Verde High School’s Band Program, Jaden Dupree, has auditioned and won a position playing guitar in the Jazz All-State Festival!

Winning a position in Jazz All-State is no small feat! Jaden Dupree auditioned against a number of other extremely talented guitarists through multiple rounds to win his position playing with one of the two featured ensembles for the weekend. There is only one guitarist position for each of the bands, so Jaden is one of the top two musicians that auditioned.

Jaden is a talented multi-instrumentalist who also plays percussion in our concert ensembles. He’s always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that our music is performed correctly and authentically. In fact, Jaden took it upon himself to learn how to play Harp for one of our most challenging pieces on our concert in December. He’s a highly valued member of our ensembles, and we’re immensely proud of him!
